owners gathering

We are sadly going to have to cancel our owners gathering this year. It was intended to be held around the bottom of Foxton Locks, near the beginning of April, as that fitted in with most peoples cruise plans. However, we have received news that locks 38 to 31 will be closed for the last 2 weeks of March, and restrictions are still in place through Leicester, allowing cruising only between 10am and 2pm, this will mean it would take some time for people to pass through Leicester itself, and require safe mooring overnight, which is limited.

Hopefully water levels will improve this year...not that we wish for a wet summer, but I am sure many of us have struggled in low water levels at times last summer, a little improvement would be good!

If the situation changes, we may be able to re-think this, but currently it is not looking practicle
