"We would like to thank Ali, Andy and Neil at Beacon Boats for building the boat of our dreams.
From the excellent steel hull built by X R & D, to the beautiful ash woodwork and the fantastic paint work Beacon Boats have made us very satisfied with the finished product.
The Beacon team encouraged our participation in the build with our many visits during the fit out and the list of 'must haves' being catered for, making our boat truly bespoke ! Their friendly attitude and complete understanding and knowledge was impressive.
We now look forward to many happy cruises in the future in Seventh Heaven and can fully recommend Beacon Boats to anybody in the market for a new boat."

"SEVENTH HEAVEN" was launched at the Crick Boat Show, May 2008.
Another 57' Semi-trad, in what seems to be a very popular livery of black, red and cream, as we have now painted 5 boats in this colour scheme, at the customers' request! (The next one on the way IS different however) It certainly has once again made a stunning looking boat, along with the solid brass ports adorning the cabin sides, and two large recessed panels, sign written by Sab Signs again.
Pam & Peter Martin fell in love with "Golcar Lily", and asked us to build them one the same, but have inevitably personalised Seventh Heaven, to make it their own little bit of heaven.
Starting from the 5'bow well, with cratch, storage lockers and bow thrusters locker, fronted with the strong lines of a Josher Bow, through the stable doors, and into the fore bedroom.
This is a bedroom to spend time in, with huge amounts of wardrobe space, some neat solid timber drawers behind one door of the wardrobe, a large sit-at dresser, with a solid ash top, and drawers under, with a well thought out large mirror that hinges away from the wall to lose the boat's angle and give a straight reflection. Even the dresser stool has storage, as does the step. The 6'6"bed pulls out to 5' wide, with full storage under, another cupboard over with inset reading lights, and of course a flat screen TV for wakeful evenings! The radiator here, and in the saloon, have ash and brass covers, providing a handy shelf for the cuppa in the morning.
Into the full width bathroom, with quadrant glass shower, Vacuflush toilet, and vanity with overhanging basin. They opted for shower walling in here instead of tiles, to keep maintenance down. Again, plenty of storage with cupboards, shelves behind the shower, and vanity drawers.
Through into the saloon, this is open plan to the galley, and has an 11' long under-gunwale unit run, with solid ash top, housing TV, music system with built in speakers, drinks cabinet, and lots more storage, the radiator is again covered and blends seamlessly into the unit run. Pride of place is a beautiful painting with it's own focused light. The stove is multi-fuel, surrounded by Victorian floor tiles, and we built a solid ash drop-leaf table, which has fold-up chairs stored in the cupboard behind it. All this left plenty of room for comfy swivel chairs and footstools. Above the table are side doors, clad in solid ash. Both sets of side doors have weatherproof glass screens for the light but not the rain! Two Houdini hatches also give extra light and ventilation when required, and these were fitted with insect screens.
The galley again has loads of storage, with kick-board drawers, base and top units going over the port, a clever swing out unit at the side of the central heating boiler (for easy maintenance access) this time with doors to hide any clutter. Eye-level oven/grill, microwave and washing machine stack to one side, along with an airing cupboard and wet cupboard. Into the beautiful real granite surface is set the glass topped hob and sink, with filtered drinking water, over a large built in fridge/freezer. A final cupboard houses very neat electrics and 3Kw inverter.
The fit out is all ash, with solid ash T&G ceiling and trim, whilst solid Oak was opted for, for the flooring throughout. The ports have thick padded bungs for nighttime. As usual, we built in some hidden storage in yet another different location. On handing the boat over, they still hadn't found it themselves! (Though we have since enlightened them, and them alone) A 42hp Isuzu engine, with a good bank of leisure batteries keep her running well. The stern has made to measure locker seats with pads, landline, and a cover when not in use.
Pete and Pam had lots of input into their boat, all of which helped make it truly their own boat.
We wish them many happy hours aboard in their "Seventh Heaven"!
